How many of you in this arena have filed your OID's and your 1040 and have gotten a refund only to have the IRS come back and either garnish your bank account or freeze it. Perhaps you have followed another process and have received the frivolous filing letters stating that if you don't file the corrected returns within 30 days they will fine you.
Wherever you are in this process and you just feel that you need that next level of understanding in order to remove the fear or feel confident in being able to explain your filing.
Understand that you will be challenged by the IRS when doing the OID filings. Once you have gained the understanding of what you are OIDing and why then it will not matter what they throw at you, you will know exactly how to respond. Can you imagine the peace of mind that it will bring to you to know that you have the confidence and understanding to be able to answer any of the questions that come from the alphabet soup gang. If you are not comfortable with dealing or standing up to the IRS then do the IRS, yourself and me a favor and do not file the OID.
